We hired James to work on using the CI tools to improve business processes in Power Solutions at JCI. James skill sets and knowledge with Six Sigma, Lean, and IT systems makes him the perfect candidate for improving internal business processes. One example of James major project successes was building a database for product costing and margins. Due to hundreds of poly containers, battery sizes, battery types within each size, different components within each battery, various labels, and hundreds of distribution points and delivery methods, costing and margins were not clear. James used his knowledge of the tools to provide and implement a data base which gave exact cost and margin for thousands of products shipped to every location. Thus allowing for more standardization of these items both within and between customers. James is very adept a improvements in any type of business process from incoming materials through delivery of final product. James is easy to work with and very good at providing leadership with superiors, peers, and subordinates. He is fully capable of leading any type of CI initiative.
