  Warrior Transition Units (WTUs) provide mission command, medical management assistance and transition assistance to Soldiers as they navigate the Army’s medical treatment system to successfully reintegrate back into the force or transition from the Army.The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Deputy Chief of Staff for Warrior Care and Transition (DCS, WCT) is the lead proponent for the Warrior Care and Transition Program (WCTP), which evaluates and treats wounded, ill and injured Soldiers through a comprehensive, Soldier-centric process of medical care, rehabilitation, professional development and achievement of personal goals. Fourteen WTUs are located at major military treatment facilities (MTFs) across the country.

  Served as the Assistant Head Football Coach/Defensive Coordinator I was instrumental in turning our program around this year at Kaiserslautern High School. I was a major leader of a change in culture that led to a turnaround in our football program both on and off the field by spearheading an initiative to develop character and camaraderie in our student-athletes. We emphasized FEAT: Family, Effort, Attitude, and Toughness this season, and developed weekly themes and activities to generate buy-in from our athletes and parents. Due largely to our efforts the team developed a positive attitude out of what had been a toxic atmosphere in years past. As both Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator, I developed game plans to help us defeat opponents that our school has not beaten in years. I have an exceptional eye for evaluating talent, and can put athletes into positions where they will be successful by allowing the players to become better by devising schemes that accentuate their strengths.

Worked with the Head coach in purchasing of up to date field equipment to assist in the preparation of the team within the constants of a limited budget.

  As the Linebackers Coach/D-line/Defensive Coordinator/Equipment Coordinator in these different positions over the course of 3 years at Golden Valley High School, our defense consistently produced tough defenses in the Foothill League which is considered one of the toughest divisions in the Southern California . We consistently created defenses that lead in points allowed, turnovers and takeaways even when the team was not performing. I have always enjoyed the challenge of assembling and building defenses that allow players to be put in positions for success while developing a platform for them to transition effectively to higher levels of competition.
