James just gets it. He has done a fantastic job of building a social media presence (primarily on Twitter) that is virtually unrivaled by anyone I know. I can't tell you how many people I've met that know or have heard of James through his tweets about the Pirates and other sports-related subjects. I read a piece recently on the Atlantic that reminded me of him (http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2013/07/how-to-actually-get-a-job-on-twitter/278246/). But putting that aside, he did a wonderful job for us providing hockey content for our website. James is destined for bigger and better things and I look forward to watching his career.
Matthew Kitchen
Though it wasn't even part of his original job description, James became an intrepid contributor to the NBC OlympicTalk blog during his time in London. He pitched, reported, and wrote stories, built slideshows, and helped the site run smoothly amid the chaos of the Olympics. A valuable and enthusiastic asset to the team.
