  Currently managing over 250 security personnel, I cover and supervise a wide array of duties including Helicopter Quick Reaction Force, CCTV, Perimeter Security, Access Control, Crisis Management, Anti-Poaching, Domestic and International Shipment Security, Roving Guard, Risk Assessments and closely working with the local Law Enforcement unit in addition to engaging and reporting to principal client security stakeholders on a daily basis. Furthermore, I also contribute to the administrative and logistical management of such a large guard force. Kansanshi Mine is one of the largest Copper mines in Africa. It is an open pit mine and has a 60 km perimeter which I am in charge of securing. I conduct multiple security operations on a weekly basis including intelligence gathering through field reconnaissance but also through undercover informers. I lead and organize ambush operations with the aim of apprehending intruders infiltrating the mine in order to steal high value goods such as high-grade copper ore from the pit or gold concentrate from the plant. I have successfully apprehended intruders including known crime figures wanted by the government and even poachers of Pangolin animals, which are a highly endangered species.On occasion I have been sent on assignment to West Africa to conduct risk assessments and analyses for companies with which my employer has contracts, most notably Arcelor Mittal which has an iron ore mine in the region.

  As an experienced Maritime Security Team Leader at management level, I provided armed security services to vessels transiting the High-Risk Areas in the Red Sea "Northbound and Southbound" areas, the Gulf of Aden "IRTC", the Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Sea, the Persian Gulf "Strait of Hormuz", the Indian Ocean and East African countries down to the Mozambican channel.Duties included but were not limited to: Advising ships masters on all anti-piracy related security issues before entering a High-Risk Area, Increasing vessel security measures by making it impossible to board illegally, Managing and training of small assault team tactical operations & managing of approximately 30 crew members which also includes training and implementing of security procedures, awareness training, Training of maritime security operatives in the field, surveillance, maintaining high levels of operational security, protection of crew and vessels during piracy attacks,Tending to all Security Team related administration, safety of and corresponding with reports on daily basis to the Operations Center including full detailed post transit reports after each deployment.Keeping close contact and cooperation with NATO coalition forces, UKMTO and MSCHOA.Operating under company Standard Operating Procedures and United Nations Human Rights regulations, Maintaining knowledge of host country’s laws and vessel’s registered flag State laws regarding use of firearms and all other security related issues which might be encountered.

  Served as a corporal in the French Foreign Legion of the 2eme Regiment Etranger du Genie (2nd Regiment of Foreign Engineers/Sapeur/Explosive Ordinance & Demolition) from the 27eme Brigade du Infanterie de la Montagne (27th Brigade of Mountain Infantry).In this capacity my duties included but were not limited to ensuring that Legionnaires in my section were at peak physical level, well-conditioned and highly disciplined at all times, maintaining their combat readiness and ability to ensure all orders given by superiors are accomplished during overt and covert operations. I was also in charge of giving instruction regarding tactical combat, demolition and combat and non-combat driving of all military vehicles to the highest standard of my Regiment.
