I have done business with Jim over the past 15 years. Jim is a strong leader that is organized and very detailed on building business relationships. Jim follows through on his promises and is respected in the industry.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim while we were together at Mondi Akrosil. While I would love to take credit for hiring him, Jim arrived at the company shortly before I did. However, I do deserve credit for not screwing things up; in Jim's case, that meant getting out of his way and giving him the freedom he needed to grow our top line and improve the quality of our revenue stream. Jim was a real student of his markets, and he built strong relationships with customers on multiple continents. He maintained a highly professional/polished image...while also being very humble and authentic. That's the right package. Because of those qualities, he's a charismatic leader of both internal & external stakeholders. Jim is a fact-based decision maker and problem solver, more than willing to get personally involved when needed. Once he learned to strike the balance between hands-on manager and inspirational delegator, it was time for Jim to leave us for bigger and better things. In short, Jim is just a great guy and outstanding friend, mentor and employee. I'd work with him again anytime.

Following successive years of growth and positive financial results, we completed the sale of Independent Printing in January 2017. Congratulations to the Independent team, and all the best to you under new ownership. (Publicly traded, NASDAQ: TFCO, until sold in 2014 to private equity - >$100MM annual revenue) Completely turned the financial performance of the company around and achieved its highest net income in the company's 40 year history. Created a team of highly dynamic leaders, and executed a strategy of profitability improvement and top line growth, without compromising safety, quality, or service. Led short and long term strategic planning to address "pinch points" of the business and leverage opportunities to reduce costs, improve productivity, and build a strong and sustainable bottom line. Provided vision and leadership to all associates and fostered an environment of constant positive change. Served as a front-line ambassador to the clients of Tufco.Tufco. Fortify Your Brand.
