At Brewin, I created the basis for the future of financial planning through the WealthPilot service. This service grew by over 1000% within 3 years and now has the processes and software to scale. The aim was to deliver an efficient and holistic service to clients who would have previously been left without much support, mainly with less than £250,000 to invest. The team were based across 6 locations who help clients achieve their goals and look to build lasting relationships. We seamlessly managed to continue our growth despite the COVID-19 related issues that meant all staff working from home for 18 months. At Tilney I helped to build the fastest growing area of the business. Moving from 200 clients to 5000 and going from 3 to 18 advisers in 3 years. I helped my clients to achieve their goals while building strong relationships over the longer term. We grew the team into new offices and worked with internal stakeholders to grow our client bank. We worked closely with our marketing department to help with client and prospect queries over the phone. Supporting BestInvest clients who wanted access to financial advice. Show less

At Voxclever I was a inbound call centre operative. In essence my role was to be part of a team that was a virtual reception to thousands of companies. This was a part time role in my summer holidays from University. I learnt many vital skills from this role. From good phone etiquette to professionalism. I came back to Towry for a further 2 months in 2012 in between my first and second year at university. This time instead of having a more work experience role, I was a fixed term employee who: -Cleansed the prospect data and adding filters so it could be easier to access (Excel) -Put all promotional materials through the compliance sign off process -Followed up any sponsorship queries from other companies I came back to Towry for a further 2 months in 2012 in between my first and second year at university. My time at Pizza Hut was very important to me. It was my first real job where i was trying to make my own money and support my mum. I was at 6th form but worked at weekends and evenings waiting tables. It was hard work and the shifts were long and busy but it definitely helped me to gain the necessary experience to work under pressure and be efficient. Even if we had a full restaurant i wanted the service to be the same for every customer and for there to be no delay in any aspect of the service. Show less
