  My role at Café Yum Yum was to manage the day to day operation of the busy Café Business. As a key holder I had the responsibility of opening up on a morning, managing the day to day tasks across the team, delegating the tasks to the right people as they arise. As well as general operational duties I also helped to promote the business, tryed to push forward sales and potential new customer enquiries. A big part of the business is the outside catering & corporate sector. With this I had the job of keeping clients happy with various catering requirements that met there needs and budgets given. As this is highly competitive market there is no room for error and we actively looked to keep all of clients happy with regular emails, phone calls & office visits to ensure we are doing the job required. A big part of my role was recruitment and whilst I helped manage the Indeed account & advertising of vacancy's I also conducted interviews and full staff training, all the coffee was illy & we followed their in-house training program to ensure the coffees met the illy standard.
