Bio
David Edmondson
James is a very enthusiastic and committed worker. He worked tirelessly to ensure that Waikato FC survived and prospered during a very difficult period financially. James is a passionate supporter of local football and continues to be involved in local club administration.

I worked with James when I was a trainer, and he was managing a call centre team in Telecom NZ. James is very good at running a team and getting people to perform. It is hard to say exactly how he does this (I was trying to figure it out), but I decided it was due to his focus on what needed to be done; his ever-present humour; his ability to get on with everyone; not taking himself too seriously; and not 'sweating the small stuff'. James has an exceptionally sharp mind and I suspect that he employs more strategy than most people credit him for. This has worked in his favour in terms of his career path, although to be honest he probably resented me when we worked together... -I gave him the worst recruits that came through because he was the only manager that could handle them, and he usually managed to turn them into productive team-members.
