      The sewer rehabilitation program involves installing a lining system into an existing sewer to prolong its life. The program of works was issued under two contracts and I was responsible for managing both contractors, Interflow and Kembla Watertech. The works included accessing confined spaces, CCTV, sewer cleaning, deep excavation for sewer repair, and installation of lining systems. City West Water also runs a Technical Officer Development Program, during this program cadets rotated through various areas of the business. During the cadets’ sewer rehabilitation rotation my responsibilities included:• Managing their work allocation and assessing competencies.• Providing guidance and support.In addition to the Sewer Rehabilitation Program I was the Project Manager for the following projects during this time:• Fosters Rd Water Main – 1.3km of DN300 open cut water main in Keilor Park.• Footscray Rd Water Main – 240m of DN300 open cut water main in West Melbourne.• Sewer Rehabilitation Package 2012 – 3km of sewer relining DN375-DN525.• Church St, Richmond - Water Main Renewalo This water main renewal involved open cut construction of 850m of DN300 water main on Church St, Richmond between Swan St and the Church St Bridge (over the Yarra River) and 280m of DN250 water main in Balmain St.o A challenging project with many restaurants, cafes, retail and trams.
