The Canadian Stem Cell Foundation is the national voice for stem cell research. The Foundation champions the importance of stem cell science for the health of humanity. It unifies scientists, business and community leaders, and the public. It provides education and builds the collaborative partnerships necessary to accelerate the speed at which research is translated into clinical applications and therapies for people everywhere. The Foundation is committed to building Canada’s role as a stem cell leader and innovator. Stem cells were first discovered in Canada, and dozens of the field’s brightest minds have made ground-breaking contributions here. The world is now closer to treatments and cures never before imagined because of them. By continuing to support their important work and training the next generation of scientists, we can move even closer, and build an entirely new industry, with a global scope, to serve all humanity.
