  I have worked across a variety of departments during my time with the company;I initially got the position starting on the checkout tills where I learnt how to build my confidence up and develop customer service interactions.After being with the company for a little under a year, I moved onto the fresh foods department within the store where I learnt how to catalogue, display and inform customers about the stock the store sold.After a year, a position opened up on checkouts as a supervisor, so I applied and was offered the place. This new role involved more responsibilities during shifts such as; managing my team during shifts (breaks, needs, etc); customer returns / exchanges; and offering direct support to customers who needed it, to name a few.During my time at university, I had sourced and applied for a dual contract meaning I could work to support myself financially during my studies. When busy periods of the year approached (such as; Christmas; Easter; Summer), I would be transferred back to my home store and support them.
