It was a week before my COVID-era wedding and I was panicking. How do I capture the ceremony on video for family and friends who can't attend without paying a fortune? Do we livestream it with one camera? Naw, we'll miss too many moments. Do we rent video cameras and do a multi-cam setup? Naw, too pricey. Then I went to James and he said - how about both? His vision was to use an iPad to switch between video being shot on four to five iPhones. He also planned to boost the sound quality with three professional mics to cover the event space and the performance of a classical violin duet. It was a cost-effective solution that fit within my budget, while covering all the important moments and allowing family and friends to tune-in. I was thrilled! James executed his vision with grace and professionalism. He game-planned the shots and expertly coordinated with the iPhone users and the musicians. When challenges cropped up with the less-than tech friendly church, he found quick, effective solutions. The livestream turned out to be a great success. Family and friends tuned-in from all over the world and loved the presentation. It made them feel apart of the ceremony and took away some of the sadness of not being there. Afterward, James sweetened the sound mix and sent me all the files within three days. My wife and I will always be grateful to James for his ingenuity and creative vision. He's a highly talented artist and professional and also a very kind and humble guy.

I had the opportunity to supervise James when we worked together at Family Theater Productions. I found him to be a very talented content producer who was passionate about the projects he worked on. He has a keen attention to detail and is very good at visualizing concepts. He is a talented cameraperson and editor and thrives in a collaborative environment. James is also as comfortable in leading a team as he is in being a part of a team and I thoroughly enjoyed our time together, for I knew that when I gave James a project, it would be completed and look great in a minimum amount of time.
