Experience

• My contract at Wonga.com involved writing an OO JavaScript (native, not jQuery) framework to translate existing Sophus tracking tags into far more complex Omniture tags, via a highly configurable and extendable XML translation engine (which I also wrote).



• I worked at R/GA on a complex HTML and JavaScript (jQuery) build which is a functional set of administration screens to a nationwide touchscreen in-store system for Nokia. Architecture-wise, .net 4 MVC was used, and I was responsible for creating all of the front-end development, whilst working with the lead .net developer to ensure simple front-end to back-end integration. I wrote 6 bespoke jQuery plugins, enabling both optimal code and ease of extensibility in the future, combined with progressive enhancement and complete browser consistency. Show less



• The main duty in my position at Digital Garden was to build, using HTML/CSS and an extensive use of JavaScript / jQuery, top quality websites and emails from designs that the clients or the design team provides. I also help the designers in the design process to avoid possible issues in the building process.



• Joined as a junior developer, working within a team required to deliver an intranet platform for a global leisure and children's entertainment brand. JavaScript MVC architecture as part of a scalable RIA platform using Backbone.js, built upon RESTful Java services for desktop, tablet and mobile platforms. A heavy focus on continuous integration and TDD, I would help with unit testing the UI with jsTestDriver, Fitnesse in Java. QUnit unit testing for the front-end. Some limited CSS3 exposure.
