  Alongside working within a freelance news team, I also contributed film and TV focussed features and reviews to multiple national and international outlets. These included Digital Spy, Vulture, The A.V. Club, Fandom, and StarTrek.com. This required being on top of the current media landscape, and considering film and TV from an alternative perspective in order to generate insightful, engaging, and timely pitches. I also wrote reviews for a Rotten Tomatoes approved entertainment outlet in a range of formats.   Worked over two, six week campaigns as a Student Fundraiser for the alumni outreach arm of York Unlimited, the University of York charitable operation. My role involved phoning alumni to inform them of the University's charitable schemes, most often scholarships, establish a relationship - learn about their time at the university - and then secure a donation to a scholarship or charitable fund with a tailored pitch.
