I first met Jimmy through the Barayamal mentoring platform. I was impressed that he took the initiative to seek out a mentor so early in his career. We set to work together and after seeing the quality of his work I said the best way for me to mentor him would be if I hired him to do some work for Hitnet. Since starting the graphic design work for Hitnet, Jimmy has been able to apply our new branding to our Strategic Plan, produce some beautiful posters for a conference display, and now he's heavily involved in providing the graphics for our audio-visual channels and also our new website. He recently came down to Melbourne to be a participant at our UX/UI design workshop and it was great to have his insights and knowledge as a graphic designer as well as his cultural knowledge. Jimmy's a pleasure to work with and a valuable member of our small team.
