Member of the research team for the ASpida Project, a collaboration between Chronic Pain Ireland and the School of Applied Psychology, University College Cork.. This project is currently in it's third phase of rolling out a pilot intervention seeking to reduce the impact of stigma in the lives of those living with Chronic Pain in Ireland. Duties have included: - Facilitating the delivery of a 1/2 day workshop intervention providing individuals with CP psychological skills to manage the impact of stigma in their daily lives. - Conducting semi-structured interviews with workshop attendees as part of a pilot feasibility and acceptability study of the ASpida workshop intervention. - Presenting psychoeducational material online to members of Chronic Pain Ireland in order to advertise the ASpida workshop and boost recruitment for it's pilot roll-out. - Administrative tasks: Liaising with members of a Public Patient Involvement (PPI) group via phone and email, scheduling and attending team meetings, contacting and booking venues for the roll-out of the ASpida workshop.
