Experience

    • Germany
    • Paper and Forest Product Manufacturing
    • 100 - 200 Employee
    • Condition Monitoring Technician
      • Aug 2018 - Present

My role involves maintaining, developing and implementing upgrades to the condition monitoring program within the mill. I also developed and established the RCA process in use on our site, and have assumed overall responsibility for RCA. My daily duties include:-Collecting vibration data on an 8-week schedule, covering over 1,000 pieces of equipment across the entire site (>4,000 bearings measured).-Analysing the data from both online and handheld sources, reporting any issues identified to the area supervisors & detailing the work required to rectify the fault condition. There have been no unidentified failures on any equipment I measure - I ensure maintenance always know of the issue before functional failure occurs.- Facilitating RCA meetings. I established both the threshold criteria for an RCA investigation and the procedure to be followed to conduct an investigation. I have facilitated several RCA investigations since the processes inception, and there have been no repeat occurrences of any incidents investigated. Show less

    • Mechanical Technician
      • Sep 2014 - Aug 2018

After completing my apprenticeship I spent the majority of my time in the 'Roll Workshop', where the paper rolls were sent for maintenance work. This role involved overhauling and maintaining a number of the paper process rolls, and also balancing said rolls to G1 tolerance.

    • Apprentice Mechanical Engineer
      • Sep 2010 - Sep 2014

I served my time as an apprentice within the paper mill, working in different areas to gain area-specific knowledge. During this period I learned how various pieces of machinery operated, and how to maintain/repair said machinery.
