James is a hard working, conscientious, and dilligent man who looks after both his colleagues and clients with aplomb. I've known him for several years now through The Generator and he's always been tremendously helpful, client focussed, and swift to respond. He's an absolute natural with people and manages the space brilliantly.

Jim Strong

James is great addition to any team. He can easily turn his hand to any number of tasks and works well on his own or in a group. James is noticeably adept at delivering well (and quickly) upon varied administrative tasks and can be relied upon to complete whatever is thrown at him

Front face of the office and the behind-the-scene operations manager. Started as an apprentice and have worked very hard to become Office Manager. In early 2016 I finished my studies in Business Administration at Exeter College. This meant I could increase my responsibilities with The Generator. Responsibilities included two offices in Exeter. One office in Dixs Field and another on the Quayside. This means I had to balance my time between the two locations and make sure they run smoothly. Both offices run at full capacity with over 150 different companies working from our offices. Any queries and client communication come to me making me lead for customer satisfaction. Behind the scenes I was responsible for updating internal documents, finances, generating leads, marketing, social media and anything else that needs to be done. Show less

My time at The Generator during this period was during my apprenticeship training. In 2013 I started as an apprentice, new to business studies. In 2016, by the time I was offered the full time position of Office Manager, I had already helped grow and maintain the business to a level it could soon grow further - We soon expanded into another building and opened our second office. Late 2014 I finished my Level 2 studies in Business Administration and had moved on to my Level 3. This meant I would learn more about Business Administration and The Generator Hub continued to grow as I learnt. My duties over this period included, and was not exclusive to: Maintaining the office space cleanliness, general administration tasks (updating internal documents, answering phones, emails, ordering supplies), invoicing, petty cash, customer service, financial forecasting and reception duties (greeting and touring new members around the offices). I did a weeks Internship with the NHS doing office work. This was focused on IT and Business Communications. The internship was shadowing a PA assistant to a head of department.
