  Over seven years of various PC related roles including network design, application support, computer purchasing, user training, and systems implementation.Programming of Syndication Database System, in Pascal, to manage Daiwa’s participation level in New Issues. This recorded Daiwa’s role within the launch of a syndicated issue and the profit (or loss) gained from the fees charged. It was an important system to the Syndicate department as it could show past relationships with other investors and issuers.Development of a database of debt sales information including yield calculators and general book-keeping services. The system took a daily down-load from the mainframe of Daiwa’s closing prices in all the Bonds it had positions in, recorded them for historic graphing of both the prices and the yields, and an overall “Daiwa Index of Bonds”.Development of a system to support equity traders trading through SEAQ. This, also, recorded the traders deals and calculated profit and loss. It was shown to be very accurate and reduced the margins of error produced by the dealers in their old manual record keeping methods.
