James is one of those star players that any organisation could dream of. He is a knowledgeable and dedicated professional who always delivers to the best standards. And not only that he is also an amazing team player and leader who would uplift moral and help the team achieve beyond and above expectations with positive attitudes.

James was a very likeable person not only within R&D but the whole company. He has introduced a range of development best practice initiatives, as well as helping to resolve quickly some key infrastructure and technical enhancements. He combines both strong technical skills with an excellent understanding of how to develop, release and support products throughout the delivery lifecycle. He is highly supportive and collaborative. He is helping us to build a high-quality R&D function.

Yobota is a fintech company that develops and runs a cloud-based, SaaS B2C banking platform. I started working with Yobota just before they went live with their first client Chetwood Financial to lead their transformation from a development team into a service organisation capable of providing a stable, scalable, supportable and secure platform with 24x7 support. I recruited and managed the team supporting the production systems until recruiting a successor and moving to the Technical Operations role. In this role I work closely with both clients and internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers and auditors. My role is to champion non-functional requirements within the business such as observability, security, alerting, technical compliance, performance and tooling while providing a bridge between the support and development groups within the company.
