During the interview, I would ask the questions and enter in their responses on the digital application, scan in any supporting documents and insure the information was completed and reviewed. With customers who have already started the application process and were needing assistance or follow up, my responsibility was to review any documented "missing" information or receive the… Show more As a Claims Representative, it was my responsibility to assist those new clients with their applications process. During the interview, I would ask the questions and enter in their responses on the digital application, scan in any supporting documents and insure the information was completed and reviewed. With customers who have already started the application process and were needing assistance or follow up, my responsibility was to review any documented "missing" information or receive the information that was provided, scan in the information verifying that the information met the standards and requirements according to the rules and regulations for which program they had applied, provide any follow up decisions during the review and submission process, and continue moving the file forward to have both administrative and medical reviews in order to receive a timely decision on the application. A Claims Representative also provided follow through with the client on a final decision and received support information from the client after approval for mandatory maintenance on the file.
