Evaluate requests for time off, manage complaints, and determine appropriate disciplinary measures when needed. - Organize reception, handling, distribution, and storage of freight and supplies, taking into account facility design, material flow, inventory turnover rates, and delivery schedules to properly allocate warehouse space, maintain organization, and minimize losses and damages. - Coordinate and facilitate purchase orders, utilizing inventory and financial data to determine supply needs. Receive shipping orders from customers, identifying and transmitting relevant information including delivery time and customer specifications. Schedule regular maintenance for equipment. - Investigate claims of missing, late, or damaged packages, using track and trace software to cross-reference claim with internal records. Respond to complaints or concerns from customers and staff, taking a hands-on approach to resolve conflicts in a satisfactory and fair manner. - As member of joint health and safety team, complete monthly inspections of warehouse and office areas, examining warehouse equipment, and fire safety equipment. Attend quarterly safety meetings, and fill out incident reports on a case-by-case basis. Show less
