When I met James is was in my first year at SeaWorld, he was just a cashier in my location but a standout cashier at that. He has moved up in the ranks to supervisor in the photo area after many years of loyalty to the company. Jim was always a hard worker and did what needed to get done, no matter what area needed help he was there to provide it. His co-workers always spoke highly of him knowing that if they left him with tasks to complete they were always done effeciently and effectively. Jim's employees always did the same, they enjoyed working for him because he was fair , new his job and was always there to support them. It was a pleasure to work with Jim for so many years.

Photo Operations Oversee the daily operation of the Photo Department consisting of approximately 13 leads and over 125 front-line team members. Establish inventory and supply levels for area locations by monitoring usage, setting auto-replenishment levels, and placing stock orders. Ensure proper staffing levels at all locations in order to provide World Class Service for our guests while utilizing labor efficiently and within budget. Review Kronos Time Cards of all Photo team members for exceptions prior to being sent to Payroll. Monitor team member attendance, over/shorts, and general performance and take appropriate developmental steps in cooperation with the Photo Manager and fellow supervisors including the issuing of Performance Tracking Forms and completing yearly performance appraisals. Address guest concerns and service issues for the area and serve as Merchandise Duty Manager on a rotating basis. Collaborate with other departments including Operations, Animal Care, Special Events, and Culinary for special photo needs, revenue producing opportunities, and daily operations. Motivate team members by setting challenging goals, providing feedback, and working alongside them on the frontline. Compile a weekly photo department report consisting of Key Performance Indicators that is distributed to department leadership for use in continual monitoring and improving of department performance. Area Lead - Retail Oversaw the daily operation of a Retail Area by setting breaks, issuing tills, performing refunds, and cashing out team members.
