      Started as a Marketing Executive within Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance - Rolls-Royce's aircraft engine leasing arm and worked there for four years managing the Trent, RB211, Tay and AE3007 engine portfolios and personaly negotiating and closing over 60 spare engine sale and leasebacks.Then moved to Rolls-Royce North America as Assistant Treasurer to support the US leveraged lease financing of Embraer regional jets into American, Continental and Mesa among others as well as supporting sales campaigns and contracting and managing Rolls-Royce's customer financing commitments across the Americas.Joined Pembroke Group in Ireland in July 2001 as Vice President - Capital Markets. At the time Pembroke, an aircraft lessor, was 50% owned by Rolls-Royce and as in most small leasing companies I got involved in a wide range of different activites including respresenting Pembroke in the bankruptcy proceedings with National Airlines, managing the redeployment and reconfiguration of our four 757 aircraft out of this bankruptcy, refinancing of these and other aircraft into different structures and orgination and delivery or remarketing mandates for third parties.
