Alessandro Timmi, PhD
I have worked with James in the same team when he was a Territory Manager at Stryker and, subsequently, when he was deservedly promoted to Regional Manager. In the three years during which I reported directly to him, I have seen James successfully close multiple deals for the placement of $1M+ orthopaedic capital equipment (Stryker Mako surgical Robots) at several sites, including the first purchase by a public hospital in Victoria (Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital) and the acquisition of a second Mako robot at Epworth Richmond Hospital. In addition, I have witnessed (and benefitted myself of) his ability to develop talent and help people grow within the company. James shines in giving constructive feeback and keeping his people accountable for their responsilibilities. However, what stuck with me the most was James' integrity, loyalty to the company culture, and dedication to his customers' needs. I consider myself lucky to have worked with James and I often find myself applying much of what I have learnt from him in my new role at a different company.
