I have known Jim for at least 8 years, originally as a fellow member on our parish council at St. Stephen Martyr. Over the years our camaraderie evolved into a valued friendship. At a time when many people slow down and retire Jim followed a new calling by earning an advanced degree in spirituality and devoting himself to work in the Christian Community. His leadership at South Louisville Community Ministries brought their long awaited plans and aspirations to fruition. By spearheading the negotiations for, and renovation of the old Beechmont Presbyterian Church Community Center, he expedited their move to that new location.
