In this role, I performed month-end closing for up to $180M in company-wide inventory using the LumberTrack system. Reconciled AR aging accounts to the general ledger ($45M-$55M). Monitored key balance sheet accounts, including prepaid imported inventory (up to $15M). Reconciled $4M+ in corporate insurance policies and worker’s compensation premiums, allocated between 41 profit centers. Reviewed and approved manual log inventory entries for 10 locations in PA, WV, VA, MI, and WI. Reduced errors 40% by creating accounting rules to record particular transaction scenarios. Partnered with a team of five to transfer $34M in inventory into LumberTrack system; received internal award for successful integration. In 2015 Northwest Hardwoods acquired Industrial Timber & Lumber. I played an integral role working through period-end close less than three weeks after month-end close to arrive at working capital for the $120M+ sale transaction completed in just 25 working days.
