James was a superb teacher who was able to help his students generate a self-inquisitive nature regarding the subject. His ability to relate the curriculum to present day events was of great benefit in an area as topical as economics. Whilst his passion for the subject is beyond question, his greatest asset is his ability to generate a similar fervour in those he teaches.
