  My passion for the military history of this Nation and the founding fathers has been enhanced by my service with the 1st Battalion 12th Infantry 4th Infantry Division Vietnam. I served as an infantryman fighting on Hill 875 and the 1968 TET Offensive. I was wounded twice and was awarded the Purple Heart. I extended my tour and stayed another 7 months as the Battalion Chaplain Assistant with the 1st Battalion 10th Cavalry, 4th Infantry Division. My total time in Vietnam was 19 months, 1967 and 1968. My dedication as a professional photographer started in 1960. That passion and experience have been an asset to those that I am able to photograph.At the National Convention for the Military Order of the Purple Heart in 2010, I was appointed as National Historian
