Responsible for all marketing activities and IT systems within Polymer Compounders Limited. Delivering on SMART measurements set by my MD. I manage our content marketing, social media, Technical SEO both on-site and off-site, email marketing, PPC advertising. Starting at Polymer Compounders Limited with zero knowledge of polymer or the (SME) manufacturing industry as a whole. I have been blessed to have been mentored in the fundamentals of the business by some polymer industry veterans. Starting with the grassroots basics of compounding, polymer types, how twin-screw extruders operate and coloured compound fundamentals.Moving on over some time to the fundamentals of polymer testing and analysis utilising FTIR (Spectrum 2), Vicat, IZOD impact testers and melt flow testing machines (MVI).In addition to learning all of the above, I moved on to warehousing and logistics acquiring my counterbalance forklift license. Filling out the daily delivery sheet and picking out correct pallets from the warehouse; ready to be despatched by our haulage firm. Progressing into business management and administration. Handling daily SOP (Sales order processing) and invoicing, communicating with customers regularly to check pricing and discuss queries.
