  Involved throughout the company’s project portfolio from new build residential developments to heritage and listed building contracting work in the commercial, public/leisure and residential sectors. I priced and negotiated tenders, quantified costs for developments, liaised with clients/architects/building surveyors/developers and carried out day to day project requirements. I also gained site management experience on a number of projects which helped me understand the on site roles and responsibilities and the importance of logistics and programmes. In late 2017 early 2018 i was lucky enough to be involved with the Red Tower project on the historical bar walls in York. This scheduled ancient monument and Grade 1 listed building that dates back to 1490 was a part of the city wall defences. I was the project manager and worked alongside Geoff Holland Architects, The Red Tower CIC and the local authority to create a new community space.
