For the Battle Festival I am currently responsible for organising fringe events to complement a Classical Arts and Music Festival. The Festival will be held in several iconic venues in Battle in East Sussex and will attract major international artists. My voluntary work for the festival involves communicating the objectives of the festival and securing ‘buy in’ from local businesses. I am also responsible for helping with the Social Media for the festival, including Twitter & Facebook strategies to drive both awareness & ticket sales. I have also played a major role in devising the content and helping design the Battle Festival website.

For the past two years I have been lucky enough to work at Glastonbury festival selling the Guardian newspaper on-site. Each day was target driven, and involved being both enthusiastic and confident to grab peoples attention in a loud and bustling environment. I had a brilliant time interacting with the readers and full-time staff, with the added bonus of enjoying some great music!
