  After a year at Surrey Sports Park I was promoted to the position of Front of House Bar Manager. During my time within this capacity I was fortunate to gain a range of experience in guest care and industry knowledge in catering, sports, leisure and events. I was also heavily involved with looking after elite sporting teams such as Harlequins RFC, 14 international teams competing in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games and 25 international teams when surrey sports park hosted the Woman’s Lacrosse World Cup in 2017. As well as dealing with large scale events and elite athletes it was also my responsibility to manage the day to day operations of the bench sports bar and restaurant. Some of my main responsibilities were:- Staffing management including hiring, inductions, appraisals, disciplinaries and schedules.- Day to day management of the bar involving stock ordering and monitoring, rigging and de-rigging events, and managing events - Managing finances including ensuring that the bar stayed within its budget, staffing payroll,
