      Joined the Trust just after the CEO as part of a team brought in to transform performance. Implemented new school improvement systems across all areas in both secondary schools and completely restructured the way the schools work both independently and collaboratively, to support our students. Carleton High School moved from Special Measures to Good in just over 12 months with headline results moving from below average to above average across almost all performance measures. Kings is now in a strong position with sustainable school improvement systems in place. Outcomes have been transformed in the 6 primary schools.

      The role of Executive Principal for Trinity MAT saw me develop whole Trust systems which were implemented in all schools in the Trust while still leading the flagship academy. Led on the transformation of Sowerby Bridge High School after it joined the Trust as a special measures school. We completely restructured and implemented a new school improvement model across all aspects of school. The school moved from a significant deficit position to a healthy financial position and is now completely transformed as a school. Trinity Academy Sowerby Bridge's Progress 8 figures moved from well below average to well above average +0.4 in 2018. I also supported other schools with improvements in the Trust across all phases.

      I started a Senior Leadership Post at Trinity Academy Halifax in 2010 when it opened, as part of a senior team that led the school to two outstanding judgements and year on year improvements across all areas of school . TAH was the first academy within its LA and serves an area with significantly high levels of deprivation it replaced a nationally known failing school, The Ridings. I became Principal in 2014 when Trinity began growing as a MAT, a teaching school and a national sponsor. In this time I refined systems across all aspects of school in a period of significant change, as the school was rapidly expanding. Improvements were seen across all areas of school with the school achieving record results across all headlines putting the school in the top 10% of schools nationally for progress whilst securing a strong financial position.
