From Oct 2004 I was based at The Windmill Stansted Airport and my responsibilities where for the day to day running of one of the busiest pubs in the JD Wetherspoon chain, assisting the Pub Manager with the operation of a large pub and a second Express Bar, both of which are operational twenty-four hours a day. My general responsibilities include team management, maintaining a safe environment for my staff and customers and responsibilities for the cash, which is taken in several currencies, and credit card transactions taken during my shift. I became the Area Training Coordinator where I was responsible for overseeing the training and development of all Shift Managers and staff within my training area. Other areas I am involved in include: stock management customer complaints recruitment and induction of staff staff disciplinary procedures including investigations. Centralised Induction July 2009 to Jan 2010 – Holding Manager at The Grover and Allen, Sudbury. Here I was responsible for all the above along with forecasting sales and hours usage, attending area and regional meetings, pubwatch meetings, staff rosters, monthly business reviews. March 2010 I transfer to Moon Under Water, Leicester Square London as a grade 4 Shift Manager and also took up the role of centralised Inductor for Central London and The Online Recruitment Champion, Training all Pub Managers on the area in the use of the above system.
