  After completing my RLSS pool lifeguard course I became a casual lifeguard at the Crystal Leisure Centre Stourbridge. I was offered contracted hours based around my education which changed depending on my timetable. From there I worked my way up qualifying as a fitness instructor and acting as a Relief Duty Supervisor. When required I also covered shifts at both Dudley and Coseley Leisure Centre. At any one time I could be in charge of up to 20 members of staff and duties included maintaining the pool's plant rooms, cashing the tills and dealing with the public.
