James is enthusiastic in his role and is developing his IT knowledge rapidly as he's keen to learn new technologies whenever possible. He is providing excellent 1st line support to our users whilst continuing his studies. James fits in well with the rest of the team but is also able to work without supervision when required.

Graham Voisey

James has worked up from a basic knowledge of IT Systems to a good robust set of skills that can be applied to most IT based situations in a very short time. He is a quick learner and is enthusiastic about knowing and understanding more. He has been a great asset to the Tonbridge School IT team without letting the fact that he does it voluntarily inhibit his enthusiasm for the work.

I have just been taken on by the RFU on a voluntary basis as a vRugby Youth Activator. What this job entails is talking to Schools and Rugby Clubs in the local and surrounding areas about how they can get people aged 14 - 24 involved back in their Rugby Club or School with Rugby. If there is anyone interested in getting kids involved in volunteering in Rugby within the West Kent surrounding area, add me as a connection and then we can set something up.

    • Volunteer Pitch Runner

I was a volunteer pitch runner for the O2 Touch Finals at Twickenham this year run by R.D.O Matt Kemp on 10/09/2011. The responsibilties for this were; helping set up the main pitch in to 3 individual touch pitches and erecting advertising flags When it came to the competition, I would make sure that the teams and referees were on their correct pitch at the correct time, make sure the referees had their score cards for their matches and run the score cards up to the officials after each match. All in all a great day meeting Paul Doran-Jones, getting to see behind the scenes at Twickenham stadium, looking in to the England dressing room and getting to walk on the turf!!!
