As the location's first Fleet Manager I helped launch the operations and build the team and procedures. As one of the first cities in our startup policies and procedures I created were duplicated as best practices across other locations. Our fleet operations exceeded expectations and lead to a higher than expected growth plan. Starting with 150 vehicles we grew to 600 vehicles - increasing our operational footprint across the city. I managed a team of up to 25 people directly and worked with external contractors. Other duties included vehicle repair processes, insurance and claims, budget and contract procurement, and vehicle logistics.
