      IT Support with TJ Morris, responsible for supporting the IBM Power Systems environment as well as providing IT support to 400 staff in the 1.2 million square foot Southern Distribution Centre in Wiltshire. Being part of the team from the moment the business began to operate it's southern expansion was a great experience for me. I was able to learn at a fast pace as it was moving at one. I learnt quickly, developed high standards for myself and had the opportunity to complete a number of tasks independently as well as be heavily involved in all team projects ranging small to large from start to finish including: The installation of all IT equipment in the warehouse such as voice picking solutions, reach truck terminals, zebra/xerox printers, PC/laptop work stations, hand held devices, door access control/swipe access, APs, UPS, Juniper switches and CCTV. Then maintaining, repairing or upgrading all of the equipment when necessary to make sure the business was fully operational with high availability that would result in goods coming in, products being picked and deliveries leaving as efficiently as possible. Supporting all stores in the southern region with their EPOS requirements making sure deadlines were met for the store opening. Then ensuring a high uptime was maintained which effectively made sure that staff at the stores could cope with higher demand and also that the customer experience was as smooth as possible from a technical standpoint.
