      Whilst working for Linbrooke I started off as a jointer’s mate helping out with the fibre jointer’s, after a short space off time I was put forward to do my own training gaining me the full qualifications in the trade.Jointed 24,48 fibre joints(DISAC and normal) for FTN route works and spurs into REBs, working from splice diagrams, and fault finding and testing with a OTDR.Working as COSS setting up safe systems of work, for testing fibre optics.Worked on Manchester metro installing CCTV cameras and Blown Fibre between equipment rooms.Worked on Sheffield concentrator building copper joints, CABS and SPTs.Installed CAT5 cable and sockets in head office in Sheffield ready for expansion of the companies LAN network I also moved on to do my C.O.S.S. training to be in charge of track safety for my work colleagues whilst working on various different tracks, nationally throughout great Britain.Installed cabinets into relay rooms on the ecml introduced fibre into patch the panels for the CCTV upgrade on the level crossings. Also installed the out side earthing.Installation of sheath gaps&Testing 48 fibre optic SCADA cable.
