Product liability mootFeedback from the judge - ‘James’s submissions were obviously well researched with good knowledge of the legal issues and application of this to the facts. He had a measured tone and delivery and a very good courtroom manner. James explained the threshold test for defect very well and he engaged with questions from the bench with direct and clear responses. Overall a very good performance!’

Head of Logistics (CCC)
-
Dec 2018 - Mar 2019
In this role, I organised the logistics for every speaker event at the Oxford Union. This totalled 53 events. They all happened during term time, and so my time management had to be incredibly efficient to balance this with my degree. The role meant ensuring the event itself runs smoothly by providing travel and accommodation, coordinating team members and liaising with heads of state, celebrities and influential guests. It also meant leading teams who are organising to debates to bring together their ideas into a coherent set of debates.I led a team of 21 logistics officers to coordinate events. Show less
