  As a part-owner and full time manager of this cafe-bar on the island of Chios, I was responsible for overseeing the start-up and day to day operations. After initially conceiving the concept I approached two investors and then singlehandedly set up the entire operation, including but not limited to all required paperwork and license arrangements, leasing the property, designing the artwork, ordering furniture and creating a budget for operational costs. Following a very successful launch I then worked as the venues manager, overseeing all promotion, entertainment booking, accounts and ordering. By offering alternative entertainment and great service the venue rapidly became the hot-spot of the island. Show less
