I had the pleasure to work with James at Lumicor. During my time with the company, I quickly found that James was a valuable asset. He was innovative, solution-driven, resourceful, and dedicated. James is a great collaborator and leader. I admired his work ethic and his ability to create balance.

I had the pleasure of working with James for 5 years during my time at Lumicor. As a remote employee, it was critical for me to have partners I could depend on to assist me in creating customized solutions for our current and prospective clients. James quickly proved to be that individual. James was always genuinely interested in the opportunities I brought to him, and his excitement invariably resulted in high-quality, cost-effective solutions that I could confidently present to customers. In an environment that was continually strapped for resources, James was required to juggle multiple areas of responsibility and he did so with a positive attitude and a smile. James is one of those rare partners who people gravitate towards and trust almost immediately. Humble, accommodating, communicative, and highly competent, James would be a tremendous asset for any organization that requires strong interdepartmental or cross functional collaboration.

I started working at Galanga Thai Cuisine in the summer of 2006. At first I helped serve at their Farmer's Market stand, and quickly moved on to become a host then waiter. I left the restaurant at the beginning of the summer of 2009 when I started school at Washington State University. Since I have been back in Tacoma (September 2012) I have resumed working at Galanga Thai Cuisine. At Galanga's, I have enjoyed getting to know our clients - as most of them are regulars, and meeting new people. During a shift, I often facilitate cash and card transactions, take food and drink orders, make drinks, serve food and beverages, and make sure that the customers are satisfied. The amazing people and delicious food make this job very satisfying!

During the summer of 2012, I worked at the Day Camp as the Program Director. The year before, I worked as a coordinator in the training program for the Campers In Leadership Training (CILTs). The three previous summers I spent at Kennolyn Camps, I worked as a cabin counselor. I Assumed more responsible and challenging roles each summer, managed a staff of 35 counselors while scheduling activities for 170+ campers every week, and led various activities and teamwork exercises (often solo) to groups of up to 25 campers. It was the hardest job I ever loved.
