This experience highlighted the massive skills gap that was evident for job seekers as well as the challenges individuals had in acquiring the necessary skills to be employable. Traditional education was not working, we needed to find a new way to deliver training that is fun, engaging and immersive that delivers very high learning outcomes. We believe that everyone has a right to valued employment, regardless of education, literacy or location and that coupled with the current skills training methods being outdated and failing the business community – SkillsVR was born. We didn't set out to create a VR company but we found that it was the most effective way to train, educate and up-skill individuals from all walks of life. What will be our ultimate measure of success be? PLAYING, LEARNING and GROWING TOGETHER, by being CURIOUS, ENGAGING and COLLABORATIVE. Our core customer advocates are the LEARNERS, their learning outcomes (being Certified SkillsVR) is our true measure of success. So, our promise ensures that our LEARNERS are playing, learning and growing, and as we build partnerships with Global companies, and global customers, this will happen together. The key driver behind JBA is to educate, train and immerse users in the Employability Skills that are required to succeed in life. We specialise in the delivery of Educational Games designed to immerse the learner in a fun, engaging and competitive experience that delivers extremely high learning outcomes (>90%, compared to traditional learning of 30 - 35%). JBA has worked with its partners including NZ Government and multiple Corporate Partners with its new product - The Tycoon Games (Restaurant, Tech Start Up; Construction) with great success.
