  At the Keene Sentinel, I started as an independent contractor delivering newspapers. I was hired on by the company officially in 2011, as a collections agent. After 2 years, I received a promotion to district manager. After another two years, I was promoted to office manager where I worked under the Circulation manager and the Operations manager. One year later I was given my shot at running a department when I was named the Mailroom Foreman. As Mailroom Foreman, I was responsible for running a day shift and a night shift with 30 part time employees. I was often complimented in this role for having everything organized and my record of being on time with the creation of the newspaper. I firmly believe that this came from me starting at the bottom, and truly learning every aspect of the positions as I advanced. The opportunities given to me and the lessons I learned at the Keene Sentinel still play a large part in my success today.
