      Computer Configuration Manager is responsible for the maintenance and safekeeping of a large pool of laptop computers used on board Navy ships during Dockside, Builder and Acceptance sea trials. The computers are utilized during trials by INSURV (Navy Inspectors) and other inspectors to generate trial cards describing deficiencies found in ETC, access reference information for research as well as be able to print documentation. Act as support and admin of ETC during sea trials for users. Computer Configuration Manager configures, sanitizes, and installs new DISA Gold disk standard images to support ship tests and trials. Additional responsibilities include software and hardware installation and configuration, installation of endpoint agent for anti-virus and host intrusion prevention, creation, and deployment of DISA Gold Disc images, and procuring software licenses for Windows deployment. Utilizes Windows Server 2016/2019 to deploy and install updates, deploy mass Windows 10 images, configure reference images in accordance with Department of Navy security standards and guidelines. Vulnerability management is conducted by performing analysis scans with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) applications to identify security and vulnerability threats. Further responsibilities include interface with customers to ensure the proper application of network assets are configured for optimal use. Configuration also consists of connecting network assets to an isolated local area network to ensure connectivity to printers and shared drives aboard ship during Ship Builder and Acceptance Trials.
