Responsible for ensuring that RFS is able to produce a profitable and quality product in an environment that is safe and productive for the employees. Responsible for all production related activities and personnel as well as all physical plant. Manage current job status and production schedule to ensure orders are delivered on time. Working with foremen to assign appropriate individuals to production tasks. Maintaining daily production assignment sheets. Supervising individuals and working with foremen to ensure production stays on track. Troubling shooting jobs with issues Suggesting, budgeting and implementing improvements within areas of responsibility(i.e. new equipment, process changes, improved procedures, etc.) using the feedback of shop personnel and personal expertise. Suggesting and utilizing outside vendors to help develop and implement specific process improvement projects Working with Shop Foreman and President to evaluate shop personnel on an annual basis. Identifying individuals with production, attitude, attendance, tardiness or other issues and managing those issues to resolution. Managing appropriate staffing levels and hours in the shop. Show less
