As an Independent Programme Management Consultant, I provide leadership and PPM expertise to organisations on critical change portfolios, programmes, projects and PMOs. I have achieved a faultless track record of adding value and realising benefits which resulted in being repeatedly retained for additional work and extensions of responsibilities. At Shell, I championed leadership roles across multidisciplinary teams within the Global M&A Portfolio and held responsibility for delivery of numerous M&A transactions ranging between $76m - $55bn in value; I thrived as the Deal Implementation & Separation Lead, spearheading the SASREF Refinery divestment in Saudi Arabia; successfully leading a team across three continents and aligning with a counterparty to enable the $810m deal to close prior to a critical delivery date; I held a key role as Head of Planning, Tracking & Reporting within the Integration Office for the Shell / BG Group Merger, implementing the approach, plan and controls to enable the deal to close to plan and the (>$4bn) synergy target to be exceeded. I oversaw the divestment & downstream exit across 14 African countries. I also led the deal implementation of the divestment of Shell's downstream business in Russia - a transaction that was completed end-to-end within 41 days. At Carpetright Ltd, I led the acquisition and integration of three target organisations, planning and execution of the transactions, integration, transformation and benefit realisation. I also oversaw, planned and executed an entity restructure across the European businesses. At BP, I spearheaded the programme leadership and successful delivery of targeted benefits from a global deployment of an anti-virus solution and associated infrastructure, service and support. For this, I led the planning and execution to enable a solution to be rolled out to all BP's >90,000 laptops globally and fulfil one of Group IT's priority objectives for 2013 in line with all KPIs and timescales. During my time at Capita Group, I drove the provision of leadership and PPM & Change Management expertise to Capita Group Companies, maintaining responsibility for planning and execution of >£100m annual education portfolio (comprising up to 15 Programmes and 80 projects + Master PMO) on behalf of Department of Education.
