I worked with James for two years at Cadmus and highly recommend working with him. During our time working together, James led three program impact evaluations within a statewide, multi-program energy efficiency evaluation that I managed. James routinely made my job easier by anticipating my needs, our principals' needs, and ultimately our clients' needs. James’ ability to see how the smaller moving parts fit into the big picture made him an asset throughout the evaluation cycle, from planning to implementation to delivering our final products. Early at his time with Cadmus, James was given responsibilities in areas where he had little domain knowledge, and he quickly established himself as a knowledgeable consultant over several programs. James accomplished all this while coordinating the efforts of a diverse team of consultants, ensuring the timely delivery of exemplary work products. His friendly and professional demeanor along with his many talents make him a joy to work with and an asset to any team.

James worked on negotiating a large and time sensitive project for me in a sometimes challenging situation. James clearly showed his experience in not only negotiating the key points of the Power Purchase Agreement, but also understanding the nuances of working with multiple stakeholders and differing points of view. James created a strategy of retaining the goals for my municipality at the forefront of the discussion, while consistently negotiating key deal terms. He worked well with my town counsel and was able to obtain favorable terms throughout the Agreement. His continued advocacy for the town's needs, affable demeanor, and quick turnaround times made him a pleasure with which to work. I highly recommend working with James.
