In my previous work, I have worked as a Laboratory Analyst at MPL Laboratories. I have been trained in the areas of inorganic and metals sample digestion and chemical analysis. I have gained extensive experience in the following areas:• Sample digestion of water, soil, paints, urine, swab, and dust samples for metal analysis.• Sample extraction & analysis of TDS, TSS, Sugar, Turbidity, BOD, TOC, MBAS, Iodometric titration method, Sulphide analysis, UV Transmittance, Oil and Grease analysis and many more wet chemistry techniques.• pH, EC, Alkalinity, Acidity & Fluoride analysis using Autotitrator.• Analytical instrumentation operated; Inductive Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES), ICP-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Mercury Analyser, UV/Vis Spectrophotometer & Autotitrator.• Safety committee member for 3 years, help develop policies for safety and housekeeping.• Research experience in In-Situ Remediation and Naturopathy health studies, Acid Sulphates and Acid Mine Drainage (AMD).• Familiar with LIMS, Workstation and other Laboratory data management systems• Detailed analysis of results using excel and other spreadsheets to meet client requirements• QA/QC of dispensers, pipettes, weighing balances for optimum results.• QA/QC of results using excel to determine whether results are reliable to be released to client.• NATA accredited laboratory.
